What are we looking for?

• We seek a results-driven and confident financial controller to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations.
• This Position will encompass financial management, reporting, risk assessment, compliance, audits, and strategic decision support.
• Duties for the financial controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
• Your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a financial controller will aid our organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and have excellent leadership skills.
• The financial controller should streamline our accounting functions and operations, provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on business finance issues, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation.
• The position also requires fundamental knowledge and experience with general accounting, month-end close procedures, eliminations and consolidations, accounting policy/concepts, controls, analytics, foreign currency issues, and working with external auditors.
• This position reports to the CFO.
• End to End controllership of Accounting, Reporting, Treasury, Cash Control, System process and Internal Controls, ERP, Audits, Intercompany transactions & Due diligence w.r.t Corporate Finance Function - Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and per IGAAP & applicable Ind-AS Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL, and Revenue Recognition
• Delivers a timely and accurate monthly close, leading all accounting for different entities, including recording expenses and accruals
• Ensures integrity and timeliness of all financial statements and financial reporting, including statutory and regulatory reporting and compliance (including direct & indirect taxes)
• Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and factual expenditures
• Managing the processes of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay process, Order-To-Cash, and Treasury including resourcing, policies, processes, and interactions with the operational business team
  
  

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience

• Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of work experience (excluding articles)
• Experience working with Big4 audit firms in audit departments or handling Big4 as auditors - Experience working with fast-paced startups
