About the Role:

The People Service Centre Specialist (PSC) role is a great way to learn about HR systems (Workday), data, and processes by supporting the People Organization function within Wiley. The PSC supports our employees across a variety of People Org-related services, including responding to customers’ questions and needs, advising on People Organization policies and practices, and executing transactions that support colleagues' needs. Additional responsibilities include administration, regular communication, research, problem-solving, and auditing of system information.

How you will make an impact:

  • Candidate should have expertise to manage employee life cycle in Workday (or equivalent).
  • Continuously review and evaluate current processes and recommend areas of improvement.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all relocation and immigration activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support the end-to-end process of global mobility assignments, including relocation, immigration, tax, and compliance.
  • Monitor ongoing mobility cases in Workday, ensuring timely progression through the process and weekly updates to Managers, People Business Partners, Global Mobility, and Colleagues
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding global mobility processes and requirements.
  • Help coordinate work permits and visa applications for international relocations and assignments.
  • Update Workday in collaboration with Global Mobility, People Business Partners, Regional People Partners, payroll, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of international relocations and assignments.
  • Interact with external vendors, such as relocation providers, immigration firms, and tax consultants.
  • Ensure all invoices for global mobility are processed in a timely manner and coded to correct cost centers.
  • Support employees and managers on global mobility policies, processes, and cultural considerations.
  • Ensure alignment with global mobility policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to global mobility assignments. Draft international transfer letters and local contracts as needed for review.
  • Supports the People Service Center team in managing ongoing Workday cases beyond global mobility cases

What we are looking for:

  • Knowledge of Workday experience or equivalent HRIS is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience supporting global mobility and international assignments is desirable, not essential.
  • Understanding of global mobility policies, immigration laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements is desirable, not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Experience with global mobility software or tools is a plus.
