About the Role:

About the Role

The ESG Program Manager supports the execution and continuous improvement of the company’s global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs. Reporting to the Director of ESG Programs, this role focuses on delivering high-quality ESG and greenhouse gas (GHG) data, supporting voluntary ESG reporting and ratings, managing ESG data systems, and coordinating responses to stakeholder ESG requests.

The role works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure ESG information is accurate, audit-ready, and delivered on time. It requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, compliance-oriented environment. Based in India, the role also supports Scope 3 supplier engagement, leveraging proximity to key suppliers across Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

ESG Data & GHG Management

  • Collect, validate, and quality-check GHG emissions data from global facilities and data providers.
  • Support emissions calculations and maintain audit-ready documentation and process records.
  • Act as the primary liaison with facility contacts and third-party carbon data providers.
  • Manage global data collection timelines and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.

Scope 3 & Supplier Engagement

  • Support Scope 3 supplier engagement activities, including outreach to Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
  • Assist with collecting supplier sustainability and emissions data to improve Scope 3 data quality.

ESG Reporting & Ratings

  • Input, review, and quality-assure data for voluntary ESG disclosures and ratings (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis).
  • Coordinate internal review and approval processes for ESG submissions.
  • Co-manage the voluntary ESG reporting calendar in alignment with regulatory reporting timelines.

Stakeholder & Questionnaire Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ESG questionnaires from clients, vendors, partners, and RFP processes.
  • Track and manage incoming ESG requests and ensure timely, consistent responses.
  • Conduct basic trend analysis to support prioritization and process improvement.

Program & Project Management

  • Manage ESG-related projects such as the annual ESG Report.
  • Coordinate internal contributors and external vendors to deliver projects on time and to standard.
  • Maintain ESG data management systems and support substantiation queries from ESG Reporting.

Operational & Financial Support

  • Support ESG vendor administration, including purchase orders, invoice tracking, and coordination with Finance and Procurement.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management involving data-intensive processes.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining high-quality, audit-ready documentation.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred

  • Experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate reporting, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with GHG accounting principles (e.g., GHG Protocol).
  • Experience with ESG reporting frameworks or ratings (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis).
  • Exposure to ESG or carbon data management platforms (e.g., Workiva or similar).
  • Experience supporting RFPs or client-facing ESG questionnaires.
  • Interest or experience in using automation or AI tools to streamline data workflows.
