About the Role:

The Senior Privacy Analyst supports the organization’s global privacy program by identifying, assessing, and mitigating privacy risks across systems, processes, and technologies. The role partners closely with Legal, IT, Security, and business teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles, ensure compliance with global data protection regulations, and enable responsible use of personal data. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong privacy expertise, independent judgment, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Privacy Risk Management

  • Lead and review Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and privacy risk assessments
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of privacy controls and recommend risk‑based improvements
  • Document findings and provide actionable guidance to stakeholders

Privacy by Design & Technology Enablement

  • Support Privacy and Security by Design reviews for new systems, products, and features
  • Review system architectures, technical designs, and implementation documentation
  • Advise on best practices to embed privacy controls into technology solutions

Data Subject Rights & Privacy Operations

  • Manage and fulfill Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) in compliance with global privacy laws
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation and audit‑ready records
  • Track, analyze, and report privacy metrics and operational performance

Incident & Breach Response

  • Assist with privacy incident and data breach intake, investigation, documentation, and resolution
  • Partner with Legal, IT, and Security teams to support containment and regulatory obligations

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and remediate out‑of‑policy personal data storage
  • Support compliance monitoring activities, audits, and regulatory inquiries
  • Maintain and update privacy documentation and controls.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or privacy compliance
  • Knowledge of U.S. and international privacy laws and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
  • Experience conducting PIAs, DPIAs, or privacy risk assessments
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with technology, security, or engineering teams
  • Familiarity with DSAR tools, privacy platforms, or GRC systems
  • Experience supporting global or multi‑jurisdictional privacy programs
