About the Role:
The Invoicing Manager plays a critical global role in overseeing invoices for all Partner Solutions services. This position owns invoicing workflows end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across systems such as SAP, Clarity, Salesforce, and CLM.
You will design and improve invoicing processes, develop best practice contract language, partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams, and lead change initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer experience. Success in this role is measured by high quality, on- time invoicing, and continuous process improvement
How You Will Make an Impact
- Lead the global invoicing program for Partner Solutions, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant
- Own invoicing workflows across multiple systems including SAP, Clarity, JIRA, Looker, Salesforce, and CLM
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure data accuracy and quality control
- Develop and manage invoicing language for contract templates, partnering with Sales to accelerate deal closure
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead change management initiatives across teams
- Create dashboards and reports to track key operational and financial KPIs
- Support collections efforts by collaborating with Accounting and stakeholders to resolve complex billing issues
- Partner cross functionally to ensure smooth implementation of new invoicing processes and tools
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years in a financial or commercial role with hands-on invoicing experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and global invoicing practices
- Knowledge of research publishing and journal business models is good to have, but not essential
- Advanced skills in Excel (working with large datasets, pivot tables, data validation)
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Conga CLM, and Clarity (or comparable tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and lead projects end-to-end
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
