About the Role:

The Associate, Vendor Management supports day‑to‑day vendor operations by handling routine tasks and inquiries, maintaining accurate operational data, and coordinating effectively with vendors and internal teams. This is an entry‑level professional role designed for individuals looking to build foundational experience in vendor operations, process management, and operational support within a structured and collaborative environment. The role operates under defined procedures and receives guidance from senior team members and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle routine operational queries from vendors and internal vendor operations teams.
  • Support daily vendor management activities by following established workflows, processes, and service standards.
  • Maintain working knowledge of vendor processes, systems, tools, and operational guidelines.
  • Assist in monitoring vendor performance metrics, including SLAs, KPIs, and turnaround times.
  • Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to process documentation, updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and effective vendor support.
  • Support clear, consistent communication with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding actions, expectations, policies, workflow changes, and operational updates.
  • Escalate issues appropriately in line with defined procedures and guidance.
  • Perform structured, routine assignments as part of an entry‑level professional job progression.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in vendor operations, production operations, publishing operations, or a related operational support role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Basic understanding of vendor workflows, operational processes, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Ability to work with operational systems, tools, and reporting platforms (e.g., Excel, dashboards, internal systems).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple routine tasks in a structured environment.
  • Ability to follow defined processes, use standard procedures, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop within a professional job progression framework.
