Requirements

The role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sox and Accounting Assistant Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist the SOX Manager in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and support various accounting functions within the Controllership.

The day to day:

  • Implement SOX compliance and internal procedures while collaborating with cross-functional business leaders to develop, document, and implement SOX compliance controls.
  • Evaluate and assist management to identify key risks in financial processes and design controls to cover the risks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes, systems and automation.
  • Test and document controls activities in place, identify gaps and needed remediation actions.
  • Assisting in controllership tasks, including end-to-end controllership of one of the subsidiaries.
  • Help in the coordination of audits and work with external auditors.
  • Perform various ad hoc accounting and financial analysis tasks as needed.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • In-depth understanding of SOX requirements, particularly Sections 302 and 404.
  • Licensed CPA with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Can do approach, self learning, time management skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving.
  • Team player and detail-oriented and willing to take responsibility.
  • High level of proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

These would be also nice:

  • Knowledge in ITGC controls and related risks.
  • Experience with High-Tech companies.
  • Proven experience to lead projects and processes
