The International Student Services Office Manager supports the International Student Services staff and all international students on campus at SNHU. The manager achieves this by overseeing daily front-office operations, being the first contact for visitors, assisting with basic immigration functions in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), and serving as the main administrative contact and support for the team. Additionally, you will report to report to the Director of International Student Service (ISS) and oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and management of student workers for ISS. This position is 100% on-site, located on our main campus in Manchester, NH.
What you'll do:
- Manage a team of 4 - 6 student office workers, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, providing feedback, and supporting student led programming.
- Manage and measure all front office operations including communicating with vendors, managing student traffic, and managing the shared inbox and phone traffic by responding to student requests and directing students to appropriate resources.
- Monitor the office budget and budget workflow approval, including processing expense reports, overseeing reconciliations, creating reports, and co-leading the budget planning process.
- Produce communications content for the Communications team, including emails, newsletters, and other correspondence.
- Navigate digital resources, including Power BI, Office 365, SharePoint, SNHU ServiceNow Portal, and social media accounts.
- Organize office data related to student walk-ins, calls, bookings appointments, and ServiceNow Portal requests.
- Help with the internal e-filing of immigration-related documents and fulfill records requests using Perceptive Content.
- Assist students and the staff with immigration compliance processes related to employment, enrollment, travel, taxes and general I-20 maintenance.
- Perform basic immigration functions like travel signatures, SEVIS registrations, address updates in SEVIS, and other SEVIS-related processes.
- Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive documents relating to medical, financial, and immigration records.
- Maintain necessary office supplies and ensure office equipment is in proper working order.
- Schedule meetings and record notes for such meetings.
- Support the office team with projects, large-scale programs, and other campus programs, occasionally helping with evening or weekend programs.
- Assist the team with welcoming students during term starts, including assisting with the check-in process, orientation, and new student programs.
- Stay informed about SNHU technology projects as it affects the office, and student workers, including data tools, team collaboration/communication systems, project management technology, and student information systems.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in administrative or office support with a commitment to customer service and cultural sensitivity
- Associate's degree
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident to fulfill the requirement to be a Designated School Official (USDHS) and Responsible Officer (USDOS)

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $21.09 - $33.76. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $23.32 - $31.54.Exceptional benefits (because you’re exceptional)
