Job Description

Join our team as an Education Consultant - Healthcare and help shape the future of aspiring and current healthcare professionals. This role is crucial in guiding individuals at critical decision-making stages, from school leavers exploring their initial career options to experienced professionals seeking to enhance their expertise or change their career paths within the healthcare industry. This is a great chance for someone who is passionate about exploring new opportunities and ways of working.

The role is newly created in a new part of our global EdTech business. The ideal candidate should thrive in an environment with rapid change and ambiguity. We are a small, agile team building a new business area from scratch, backed by a large, global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consultation and Advice: Provide expert guidance and support to individuals considering university degrees in healthcare. This includes:
  • Assessment: Working with prospective students to assess their skills, interests, values, and career goals.
  • Education Guidance: Providing personalised advice and guidance on study options and paths to achieve their career goals.
  • Industry Insights and Trends: Utilise your solid understanding of the education system and industry and labour market trends to provide insights into emerging careers, in-demand skills, market shifts and opportunities based on each individual's career aspirations and personal circumstances.
• Communication: Engage with prospective and current students through various channels, including direct calls, video calls, live chat, and email, ensuring a responsive and informative interaction.
• Content Development: Create compelling sales materials and informational content that resonates with a diverse audience.
• Webinar Management: Organise and run weekly webinars that provide valuable insights into healthcare education options, helping participants make informed decisions.
• Student Outreach: Proactively reach out to prospective students who have shown a strong interest in our courses, guiding them through the decision-making process.
• Video Production: Participate in creating video content, including informational and instructional videos, comfortable with being on camera and delivering engaging content.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Experience working in sales roles.
• Proven ability to manage a long sales funnel that spans from initial awareness and consideration to purchase, with a focus on nurturing leads and converting enquiries into enrolments.
• Experience working in or understanding of the Australian healthcare education system.
• Experience working in the Australian healthcare sector is desirable.
• Formal training and experience in coaching is also desirable.

• Exceptional organisational abilities
• Excellent storytelling, presenting and communication skills
• Technological adeptness, including proficiency in webinar platforms and CRM systems

Personal Qualities:

• Must be caring and approachable, with a professional demeanour that encourages trust and respect.
• Ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively
• High-level professionalism, a self-starter and not scared to go above and beyond
