Job Description
Here's what you need to know:
The Operations Associate: Food and Nutrition is a valuable member of the KIPP Miami. Under general supervision serves the students of KIPP Miami by providing nutrition support, cafeteria support and operations support, daily. The Operations Associate: Food and Nutrition provides excellent customer service and builds and maintains strong relationships with students, staff, families, and providers. This teammate also complies with all KIPP Miami, and NSLP standards and procedures.
Nutrition Support
- Setting up breakfast for classrooms
- Distribution of breakfast for tardy students
- Breakfast clean up
- Distributing snacks
- Other duties as assigned.
Cafeteria Support
- Meal time monitoring
- Supporting management of student culture during meal times
- Supporting student clean up at the end of the meal
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Must Haves:

Regularly talk, hear and communicate with both adults and children
Frequently required to walk, stand, bend, or sit
Frequently required to move boxes, load and unload supplies

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role
- Previous experience in an educational or non-profit setting
- Previous experience in operations

Compensation & Benefits
KIPP Miami offers a full comprehensive benefits plan, including health care, competitive 403(B) plan, and a school laptop.
KIPP Miami offers competitive salaries to newly hired lead teachers. Salaries are based on prior experience and in accordance with certification requirements. KIPP Miami offers a competitive salary starting at $55,000 for teacher positions with additional opportunities for earning up to $4,000 annually in performance-based pay.
