What You'll Do
As an Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving new revenue growth and ensuring customer success:
- Own your territory: Take charge of target universities across North America, adopting an account-based, bottom-up sales model.
- Full-cycle sales: From prospecting and product demos to closing deals, onboarding, and upselling, you’ll manage the entire sales journey.
- Hybrid sales activities: Combine inside sales (cold calling, email outreach, virtual demos) with outside sales (visiting campuses, in-person networking, and prospecting).
- Customer engagement: Build relationships with professors, empowering them to implement Kritik in their courses and expand its use across their departments.
- Collaborate: Partner closely with our product and customer success teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a results-driven sales professional with a proven track record and a passion for education:
- Experience: 1+ years as an Account Executive in transactional SaaS (high volume, low value); experience in the Education sector is a bonus.
- Proven performance: Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed annual quotas.
- Hunter mentality: A self-starter who thrives on finding and closing new business but understands the value of nurturing long-term accounts.
- Sales skills: Exceptional communication, objection-handling, and negotiation abilities.
- Organized and adaptable: Strong time management skills and the ability to implement and refine processes in a fast-changing environment.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot to manage high volumes of daily activities.
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years in higher education.
- Willingness to travel within Florida and the US for campus visits or conferences, as well as bi-annual team events in Toronto, ON, Canada.
