In order to provide the best possible career support to our students, we are looking to hire a Careers Advisor to join our Online Team! This role would be suitable for recruiters and tech recruiters as well as careers advisors.
Working closely with the Online Careers Lead, Head of Global Careers, and Online Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting graduates entering the tech job market, through offering 1:1 career coaching, delivering workshops, running hiring events, and building connections with both leading corporates and fast-growing start-ups.
You will play a key operational role in preparing our newly graduated students for their chosen career path, supporting them to launch their new careers in tech.
Role responsibilities
🚀 Prepare our newly graduated students for their new career path:
- Plan and deliver Careers Week, the flagship event of our Bootcamps, by:
- Preparing and presenting the Careers Week workshops, in-person and online;
- Leading communication during the week and collecting feedback;
- Onboarding, training, and supporting Career Teaching Assistants (TAs) and other relevant team members;
- Sourcing, organising and following-up with speakers and workshop facilitators. e.g. recruiters, partners, alumni.
- Run 1:1 career coaching sessions with job-seeking alumni
👩🎓 Support our Alumni in post-bootcamp journey
- Collect and analyse quarterly outcomes data from all students to track students’ success and hiring rates across our Bootcamps and implement improvements based on feedback
- Engage our alumni post-bootcamp to strengthen our network and brand
- Support the team in organizing events for Alumni and preparing newsletter
- With your Careers Lead, prepare job reports and collaborate with Marketing and Sales in leveraging successful Alumni and partner stories (eg. testimonials)
🏬 Connect our job-hunting students with our partners:
- Maintain and grow our Careers Services partnership network by leveraging existing local partnerships and forming new partnerships to support the delivery of Careers events
- Organise careers and networking events such as job fairs, tech talks (lunchtime learnings), bespoke hiring events etc. so that alumni can meet partners and one another

Requirements
- You worked 1+ years in an operational role (recruitment, sales, HR), ideally in the tech industry
- You are keen to work in a fast-paced startup that has a tangible impact on people’s lives
- You are fluent in English and French and have strong written & verbal communication skills
