About Leadsquared

LeadSquared is one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in the CRM space — trusted by 2,000+ customers and 2 lakh+ users globally. We help organisations automate sales and marketing workflows and run high-velocity revenue operations at scale. Headquartered in Bengaluru, our team spans India, the US, Middle East, ASEAN, ANZ, and South Africa.

DESIGN @ LEADSQUARED

At LeadSquared, design is not decoration — it is strategy. Our Product Design team works at the core of how we build, ensuring that every feature we ship is intuitive, purposeful, and delightful to use. We believe great design solves real business problems, and we build for users who depend on our platform every day to run their livelihoods.

If you obsess over pixel precision, lose track of time on a Figma canvas, and genuinely care about how users experience software — you’ll feel at home here.

About The Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our Product Design team. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to design intuitive, user-centered experiences across LeadSquared’s CRM, LOS, and marketing automation products. You will own design deliverables end-to-end — from early research and wireframes to polished, production-ready UI components.

What You’ll Be Doing

UX Research & Discovery

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to understand user needs, business goals, and product requirements through structured discovery.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Translate research insights into design opportunities, user journey maps, and information architecture frameworks.
  • Identify and document pain points in existing product flows and propose well-reasoned, user-centered improvements.

Interaction Design & Wireframing

  • Design and iterate on wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes to explore and validate concepts early.
  • Create high-fidelity, production-ready UI designs in Figma with meticulous attention to detail, consistency, and usability.
  • Design intuitive interaction patterns and micro-animations that improve the overall user experience.
  • Ensure designs account for edge cases, error states, loading states, and accessibility requirements.

Visual Design & Design Systems

  • Develop and maintain design components, patterns, and styles that contribute to a consistent, scalable design system.
  • Apply strong visual design principles — typography, colour, spacing, hierarchy, and iconography — across all deliverables.
  • Create design assets and specifications that engineering teams can implement with precision.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, aligned, and implemented as intended.
  • Present design concepts and rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives as an active contributor.
  • Incorporate feedback iteratively and balance creative ambition with business and technical constraints.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • 1 –3 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a closely related field.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, structured problem-solving, and visual design capability — academic and personal projects are welcome.
  • Proficiency in Figma — from components and auto layout to prototyping and handoff.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles: information architecture, interaction design, usability heuristics, and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate and present design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail — in craft, in feedback, and in follow-through.
  • Genuine eagerness to learn, iterate, and grow in a fast-paced SaaS product environment.

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with design systems and component-based design libraries.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS — enough to have informed conversations with engineers.
  • Experience with user research methodologies: interviews, surveys, card sorting, or usability testing.
  • Exposure to SaaS, B2B, or enterprise product design contexts.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience with tools like Maze, Hotjar, Zeplin, or similar research/handoff platforms.
