Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)
About the role:
We are looking for counsellors for scaling our premium counselling division. You will work with Managers and Senior Leaders to build a premium counselling division. We are looking for people who will define the charter for this vertical
The charter for this role will include :
● Conduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students interested in studying abroad
● Guide students on what courses to opt for based on their profile and interests
● Assist students in deciding on the universities/colleges and programs to apply to
● Assist in preparing and filing their applications
● Maintain follow-ups and a high conversion pipeline to meet enrollment targets
● Use CRM tools to manage leads efficiently and ensure timely follow-up and closure
● Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth student experience
● Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for student conversions
Ideal Persona would :
● Good communication skills
● Knowledge of CRM
● Consistent performer and has met targets in the previous organization
● Prior experience in study abroad or Edtech industry is preferred
● Be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
