About the role

Working in a lively and busy content design team, you will help design content for online and learning projects. You will join a team of welcoming graphic designers, animators and content developers who value collaboration and creativity as the key component to all their work. We have a wide range of skills and experience levels that you can add to or develop along the way.

The perfect candidate is a Graphic Designer with a strong creative flair, a good foundation of skills and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Location: Location is flexible within the UK, with a strong preference for a candidate within travel distance to either the Derry or Nottingham office. Entry-level candidates, in order to learn and grow in the role, will need to spend some time with colleagues in a physical office location. A willingness to travel, including overnight stays is required.

What you will be doing

As part of a lively and busy design team, you will help create graphics for online learning projects, you will;

  • Visualise and bring a creative perspective to a variety of design projects
  • get to experience working with some of the world’s best brands
  • Be involved at every stage of a project allows you to develop a wide range of new skills
  • You will develop a strong communicative relationship with your team and manager who will support you along the way.
  • Engage with clients and colleagues directly to help them reach their creative goals
  • Learn to work as part of an efficient team
  • Collaborate with and support other teams within the business
  • Take pride in the consistency and quality of your design throughout project production

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualification: You will have a graduate-level qualification (or similar) in an Art and Design discipline
  • Design Experience: A portfolio showcasing original work that demonstrates an excellent understanding of design fundamentals and knowledge of design software e.g. Adobe Illustrator. Experience using Adobe with Photoshop, Indesign and After Effects is a bonus
  • "Build to grow" mindset: You will be capable of providing and receiving honest feedback and work in a collaborative and supportive environment with other designers
  • Adaptability: Be keen to develop your knowledge and skill through new design experiences
  • Communication skills: You will be able to communicate, manage and guide design expectations with colleagues and customers. You will be proactive in developing their knowledge of, design trends and techniques
  • Positive approach: You will have a professional, collaborative and open-minded attitude towards colleagues, clients and ways of working
