As a Strategic Account Manager, you will acquire and manage large (multinational) customers and contribute to Lepaya's overall success through strategic business planning, relationship management, and consultative selling.
You will scope projects and deals, and define them into milestones and timeframes. This will result in developing a strategic customer plan that positively impacts results. Next to your drive to contribute to growth and manage churns effectively, you will also deliver revenue through effective deals and strategic customer management. This, you will not do alone. What we’re looking for
- Min 4+ years of experience as a Strategic Account Manager (SAM), preferably in consultancy and/or tech industry
- Affinity with the learning & development landscape
- Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions that positively impact the business
- Coaching team members, communication, and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and customer needs
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving revenue targets and strategic objectives
- Fluent in English and preferable in Dutch, German, or French
- Bring in 1-1.5M EUR in new bookings for impacting upskilling solutions at new and existing clients with +2.5k employees, across Western Europe and your (sub)industry
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for your territory
- Be the go-to expert in your territory for your customer's sector, providing expert advice on complex decisions
- Proactively identify and tackle future issues before they escalate
- Manage expectations, and articulate reasons for project or timeline changes
- Collaborate with a team of customer success managers, account managers and other internal stakeholders
- Actively plan and align complex projects and strategic communications to deliver Lepaya's goals
