Why we need you

As a Junior Financial controller, you will be at the heart of the financial team, with an initial focus on the Accounts Payable side. You will support the monthly closing and help steer the business. You will help improve processes and work with people across the company. You will be the person who knows the details, while of course having the backup of the financial lead.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor in accounting/finance/ economics or Business or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience in finance

  • Experience with identifying process improvement and implementation

  • Experience with Excel and preferably Exact

  • Good verbal and written English communication skills and a team player mentality;

  • Hands-on mentality with a good eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset and a high level of integrity


Your first-year achievements

  • Assist in the monthly closing process and management/financial reporting;

  • Process AP and book salaries

  • Do the bank reconciliation and create payment files

  • Improve finance related processes and co-operate with the Finance Lead on optimizing reporting & accounting;

  • Be the first point of contact for finance-related questions from the team including ad-hoc analysis and providing a strong foundation for dynamic reporting;

  • Analyze key performance indicators, profit & loss reports, and make recommendations to optimize the overall business performance;

  • Work with the Finance lead to be ready for the audit;
