We are currently looking for a Job Center Buddy (all genders) based in Berlin, Köln, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Dresden, Dortmund, Nürnberg, Bremen, München.
Your mission with us:
Match Talent is a leading provider of career counselling for skilled immigrants wanting to kick start their career in Germany. Our mission is helping people to explore their interest, strengths & opportunities for a 100% state funded job qualification program in Germany.
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our team as Job Center Buddies (all genders).
As a Job Center Buddy, you will act as a mediator and translator, providing calm and neutral communication support to our candidates during their appointments at the Agentur für Arbeit. You will also be responsible for creating reports for follow-up, providing insights into our Job Center process, and sharing your background knowledge to improve our services.
The ideal candidate will be a native German speaker or close to native, with fluent or native English skills. You should be able to remain emotionally detached during appointments. You are flexible, live and love the start-up idea and are ready to get involved in a fast-paced environment.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Accompany our candidates to their Job Center appointments
  • Act as a mediator and translator for our candidates during their Job Center appointment
  • Provide calm and neutral communication support
  • Create reports for follow-up and provide insights into our Job Center process
  • Share your background knowledge to help improve our services
  • Remain neutral and emotionally detached during appointments


  • Native German speaker or close to native
  • C2 English or native English speaker
  • Background knowledge of Job Center processes is desirable
  • Ability to communicate calmly and act as a mediator and translator
  • Neutral and emotionally detached approach during appointments
  • Flexibility of schedule
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment
  • Your are reliable, punctual, driven and self-organised
  • Negotiation skills
  • Awareness to perform an present yourself professionally
  • Ability to create reports for follow-up
  • Willingness to improve and learn
  • You can legally work as a freelancer - this role will require max. 10 hours/month of your time
