We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (all genders) based in Germany or working remotely.

Your mission with us:

  • Ensure high-quality software delivery and optimal availability in the production environment. This role will report into our Lead Quality Assurance Engineer and be responsible for mainly manual testing (70%) and some automation testing (20%) and working on bug management and reports (10%).

Your tasks:

  • You create, execute and maintain test scenarios. Find bugs and follow up on their resolution.
  • Give feedback to the developers so they constantly improve to write better software.
  • Together with our development team, you ensure the creation of sufficient automated tests.
  • Verify the product specifications before the implementation begins.
  • You collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvements

You bring to Lingoda:

  • Excellent knowledge of quality concepts, standards, and best practices.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in testing web applications.
  • You are familiar with exploratory testing.
  • You have experience creating automated tests for web applications using Cypress or Playwright. Basic understanding of SQL.
  • You easily use bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira).Ideally, you had first contact points with PHP and JavaScript.
  • You are fluent in English. You have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
