What is this role about:
The Director - Office Management & Operations will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day administration, facilities management and operational efficiency of the organization’s office in India and supporting a global workforce with diverse roles (both on-site and remote) for all operational shifts. As a senior leader, this role will be responsible for ensuring efficient internal operations, compliance with company policies and local regulations and coordination across multiple functions for a secure and productive office environment that enables business teams to focus on their core objectives without operational distractions. This role will also serve on the Board of Directors for the India legal entity.
What you will be doing:
Office Operations Leadership:
- Oversee daily office management operations including but not limited to facilities, security, and housekeeping, ensuring operational excellence and responsiveness.
- While primarily operating during the India day shift, will hold end-to-end responsibility for all operational shifts outside of India hours, ensuring seamless performance, issue resolution, and operational support across global time zones.
- Develop, refine, and implement operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, quality, and compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.
- Support global leaders and managers in effectively managing their offshore teams in India.
- Champion ongoing transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the India region to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Responsible for communications impacting India-based employees.
Cross-functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the office operations budget; proactively identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, Legal, and other corporate functions across multiple shifts to support global operational requirements and ensure organizational alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related matters with senior management and external partners.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Provide strategic input and operational insights during board meetings, influencing organizational planning and policy development.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports on office operations, key performance metrics, and improvement initiatives for senior leadership.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the India legal entity.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to workplace safety, labor laws, and facility management.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, including but not limited to disaster recovery plans and business continuity protocols, to safeguard operations.
Administrative Team Leadership:
- Manage directly the administration team across multiple shifts, providing operational direction, guidance, and performance management to support overall business objectives.
- Foster a high-performance culture through effective team leadership, development, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you need to be considered:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in similar roles.
- Demonstrated experience working independently in a senior role with strong ability to identify issues, solve complex problems and influence senior leaders.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex office operations supporting global teams, including multi-shift environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and act as a trusted advisor at the board level.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Transformation/continuous improvement/change management experience.

- Ability to foresee potential challenges and opportunities within office operations and design innovative strategies to address them proactively.
- Expertise in applying analytical frameworks and data-driven insights to solve complex problems, optimize processes, and improve resource allocation.

- Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated by managing diverse, multi-disciplinary teams across various shifts and locations.
- Proven ability to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Skilled at conflict resolution and motivating teams to adapt to dynamic operational demands.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, including global leadership, functional heads, and external vendors.
- Ability to influence and negotiate to achieve alignment on initiatives, resolve conflicts, and drive successful delivery of operational goals.
Multi-tasking & Prioritization:
- Demonstrated capability to juggle multiple concurrent projects and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
- Proficient in setting clear priorities, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring timely follow-through amid evolving business needs.
Change Management:
- Experienced in leading change initiatives, including the introduction of new systems, workflows, and cultural shifts with minimal disruption.
- Skilled at communicating the rationale, benefits, and impacts of change to stakeholders at all levels, securing buy-in and minimizing resistance.
Strong Organizational and Analytical Skills:
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities to manage complex logistics, vendor contracts, and compliance requirements systematically.
- Adept at interpreting operational data, generating insightful reports, and making recommendations that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
