At MyComputerCareer, we’re in the business of changing lives. We help students launch careers in IT—and behind the scenes, our team makes that possible every day. We move fast, we care deeply about our people, and we take pride in doing things the right way.

The Role

We’re looking for a Payroll & Tax Administrator who knows payroll inside and out—especially in a multi-state environment—and takes pride in getting the details right.

This role owns the day-to-day payroll process in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, every time. You’ll also manage payroll tax compliance, support audits, and partner across teams to keep everything running smoothly.

If you’re someone who values accuracy, integrity, and doing things the right way—this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Process biweekly payroll for 450+ employees across multiple states in ADP
  • Ensure accuracy across wages, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions
  • Manage payroll tax setup, filings, and payments (federal, state, local)
  • Audit payroll data from multiple inputs (HR, benefits, finance) prior to processing
  • Maintain and update employee data within ADP
  • Serve as the go-to for payroll-related questions from employees and managers
  • Monitor integrations impacting payroll (benefits, expenses, etc.)
  • Support internal and external audits with payroll data and reporting
  • Partner with Accounting and leadership on payroll reporting and reconciliations
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with retention requirements
  • Help improve payroll processes, controls, and documentation
  • Support training on payroll and timekeeping processes

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally in a multi-state environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (or similar system)
  • Deep understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance
  • High attention to detail—you catch what others miss
  • Strong integrity and ability to handle confidential information
  • Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, data review, analysis)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Clear, professional communication style

Preferred:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
  • Associate degree in HR, Business, or related field

Why MyCC

  • Streamlined, centralized payroll in ADP
  • Strong, collaborative HR team
  • Opportunity to own and improve processes
  • A company culture centered on Love, Customer First, Excellence, and Ethics

A Few Must-Haves (Non-Negotiables)

  • Attention to detail
  • Integrity
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Someone who genuinely cares about doing great work and supporting employees
