Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist - Events

Job Description: We are looking for a talented and driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our events team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event marketing, a knack for creating engaging content, and a proven track record of driving online engagement and attendance through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Campaigns: Plan, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing campaigns to promote events, including webinars, conferences, trade shows, and other company-hosted events.
  • Email Marketing: Design visually appealing and effective email campaigns to promote events. Create and manage email templates, ensuring they are optimized for various email clients and devices.
  • Integration Support: Work with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems to integrate email marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless delivery and tracking of campaign performance.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and relevant content for various digital platforms, including social media, email newsletters, blogs, and the company website, to attract and retain attendees.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across all major platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) by posting regular updates, engaging with followers, and responding to inquiries.
  • Email Marketing: Design and send targeted email campaigns to promote events, share updates, and encourage registration and attendance.
  • SEO and SEM: Optimize event-related content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic. Manage paid search campaigns to enhance event promotion.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the events team, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate the digital marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on events.
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media management tools, and email marketing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Familiarity with event management software and platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
