Role Overview:
The Social Media Specialist will play a critical role in shaping our social strategy by delivering actionable insights, identifying trends, and ensuring our content drives engagement, reach, and conversions. You will collaborate closely with content, design, and marketing teams to turn data into strategy and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics across all social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Identify audience behaviour, engagement trends, content performance, and campaign impact.
- Use tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and native platform analytics to build detailed reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to guide data-informed content development and campaign planning.
- Evaluate competitors’ social performance and industry benchmarks; identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Monitor social listening tools to track brand sentiment, audience conversations, and emerging AI topics relevant to target roles.
- Develop and refine KPIs based on campaign goals (awareness, engagement, lead generation, etc.).
- Assist in A/B testing content formats, posting times, hashtags, and messaging to improve performance.
- Support the performance marketing team by analyzing paid vs. organic performance and audience segmentation.
- Recommend strategies to improve follower growth, brand engagement, and conversion on social channels.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in social media analytics, performance marketing, or digital marketing analytics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced knowledge of social media analytics tools.
- Familiarity with both organic and paid campaign tracking.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Twitter/X in B2B and tech-focused ecosystems.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, visual reports and actionable insights.
- Experience working in edtech, SaaS, certification, or AI/tech companies is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of UTM tracking, Google Analytics (GA4), and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker Studio.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Experience working with role-based personas or B2B buyer journeys.
- Understanding of AI/ML topics or interest in AI upskilling markets.
