About the Role
NetCom Learning is looking for a hands-on Marketo expert to take full end-to-end ownership of our Marketo instance-administration, architecture, and day-to-day operations. This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution: you will translate business requirements from Marketing, RevOps, and Sales into scalable Marketo programs, campaigns, and data structures. You will also own the integration layer between Marketo and our broader GTM stack, including GoTo Webinar and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Success in this role looks like a well-governed, high-performing Marketo instance that reliably feeds clean, accurately-scored leads into the funnel, with minimal manual intervention and strong cross-functional trust in the data.
What You Will Do
  • Own the Marketo instance end-to-end-administration, architecture, governance, and roadmap.
  • Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable Marketo programs, workflows, and campaigns.
  • Design and maintain the Marketo data model, including custom fields, scoring fields, and program/channel taxonomy.
  • Build and manage integrations between Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, ensuring clean bi-directional sync of leads, contacts, and campaign data.
  • Manage the Marketo–GoTo Webinar integration for webinar registration, attendance tracking, and follow-up nurture flows.
  • Develop and maintain lead scoring, lead lifecycle, and routing logic in partnership with RevOps and Sales.
  • Build, QA, and deploy multi-channel campaigns-email nurture, lead nurturing programs, event and webinar programs, and ABM campaigns.
  • Maintain database health: segmentation, deduplication, data hygiene, subscription/preference management, and compliance (GDPR/CAN-SPAM).
  • Create and maintain smart lists, smart campaigns, program templates, and reusable assets for scale and consistency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot sync errors, webhook failures, and API integration issues across the marketing tech stack.
  • Partner with RevOps, Sales, and Data & Analytics teams to ensure funnel reporting reflects accurate, system-generated attribution.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to marketing automation architecture as the tech stack and business needs evolve.
  • Document Marketo processes, naming conventions, and governance standards, and enforce them across the marketing team.
  • Stay current on Marketo platform updates, Adobe roadmap changes, and best practices, and proactively recommend adoption.
What We Are Looking For
Functional Skills
  • Deep, hands-on expertise across the full Marketo platform-program and campaign building, smart lists/campaigns, lead scoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of the Marketo data model (leads, programs, channels, tags, custom objects) and how it maps to business processes.
  • Proven experience integrating Marketo with CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience integrating and managing Marketo with webinar/event platforms, ideally GoTo Webinar.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and REST integrations connecting Marketo to other marketing and sales tools.
  • Solid grasp of email deliverability, database segmentation, and data privacy/compliance requirements (GDPR).
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve platform issues without heavy reliance on Adobe support.
  • Strong stakeholder management-comfortable translating ambiguous business asks into Marketo-ready specifications.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Adobe/Marketo certification required-Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) or Marketo Certified Solutions Architect (MCSA) strongly preferred.
  • 5–7 years of hands-on, end-to-end Marketo administration and architecture experience.
  • Prior experience owning a Marketo instance independently (not solely campaign execution) is required.
  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, or technology/training industries is a plus.
