Role Description The Academic Trainer – Preprimary is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves conducting training sessions and workshops for preprimary teachers on Next Education’s curriculum, teaching methodologies, and technology-enabled classroom solutions. The Academic Trainer will demonstrate effective classroom practices, model age-appropriate pedagogical techniques, and support schools in implementing Next Education programs. Responsibilities include planning and delivering training content, observing classrooms, providing feedback, and documenting training outcomes and improvement plans. The role also requires collaborating with internal academic and product teams to refine training materials and address school-specific requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in early childhood education, child development principles, and preprimary pedagogical methods.
  • Experience in teacher training, instructional design, or academic coordination at the preprimary or primary level.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning tools, classroom technology solutions, and basic office productivity software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse educator groups.
  • Ability to plan training schedules, manage on-site sessions, and provide structured feedback and reports to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; formal teacher training certification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in CBSE, ICSE, or state board schools is beneficial, along with familiarity with 21st-century skills and activity-based learning.
  • Willingness to travel locally within Mumbai and occasionally to nearby regions for school visits and training programs.
