Noodle is looking for a VP of People to drive our HR and talent management efforts, shaping a culture of high performance and development. The ideal candidate is ready to craft competitive compensation frameworks and robust rewards strategies, keeping us ahead of the curve. You'll guide the entire employee journey, from smooth onboarding to graceful exits, all while leveraging data to fine-tune our processes. Advocating for our values, you'll lead the development of inclusive policies that ensure compliance. Collaborating closely with leadership and hiring teams, you'll optimize our structures and recruitment strategies. Together with the People team, you’ll help strengthen an environment where every Noodler feels valued, supported, and ready to thrive.

As our VP, People, you will:

  • Lead the overarching human resources and talent management initiatives at Noodle, fostering a dynamic culture of growth and development
  • Craft an adaptable compensation framework and holistic rewards strategy to remain competitive in our industry; perform audits and present strategic approaches for annual planning
  • Take charge of the entire employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding, leveraging data-driven insights to continually enhance each stage of the employee lifecycle
  • Develop and advocate for people-centric policies aligned with our core values, ensuring compliance and financial integrity
  • Drive excellence in management practices, encompassing performance evaluation, talent assessment, employee engagement, development programs, and career progression
  • Oversee diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices throughout the candidate and employee experience, cultivating an environment of belonging at Noodle
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and hiring managers to optimize team structures and recruitment strategies
  • Own the efficient operation of People systems, technology, and analytics, aligning with organizational needs and fostering continuous improvement
  • Streamline processes and systems, providing comprehensive documentation, communication, and training to deliver exceptional service to Noodlers
  • Lead and nurture the People Team, directly managing professionals across Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Benefits and Payroll, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Employee Experience

You have:

  • 10+ years of People/Human Resources experience with 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree is a plus
  • Strong business orientation and a bias towards action and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
  • Demonstrated success with gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with internal and external customers on all levels of an organization
  • Metrics-driven professional who possesses the ability to meet KPIs and make data-driven decisions
  • Knowledge and practical application of state and federal employment laws (EEO / Affirmative Action, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, etc.)
  • Exceptional knowledge across the whole employee lifecycle from onboarding, performance management, leadership development, organization design and development, talent management, remuneration & benefits, and employment relations
  • Proficiency in UKG Pro and ability to quickly learn HRIS systems
  • Detail-oriented, possessing excellent planning and organizational skills, and excellent leadership, listening, and communication skills with the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with an ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Proven ability to successfully manage a team with strong leadership and team coaching skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
