The Implementation Manager will be responsible for the implementation of SchoolStatus' products or services for new clients. This role will involve managing all aspects of the implementation process, from initial planning and scoping to final delivery and client onboarding. The ideal Implementations Manager will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
The impact you'll have:
- Initiate, organize, and complete the customer onboarding process, collaborating with Customer Success Managers and other Implementation Managers as necessary.
- Manage the handoff from the Sales Team to the Customer Success Team, ensuring a smooth transition and exceptional customer experience.
- Conduct online and onsite training sessions for SchoolStatus users, ranging from district office personnel to classroom teachers.
- Monitor customer engagement and utilization to ensure ongoing value in product usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Audit customer workflows, streamline processes, and integrate new features or options into existing configurations as needed.
- Develop expertise in the SchoolStatus software platform to anticipate customer needs and provide relevant support and guidance.
- Contribute to the development of a strong team environment through collaboration and high work standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes, and proactively address them to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Coordinate and manage resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and third-party contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular project meetings and status updates with internal and external stakeholders to review progress, address issues, and make decisions as needed.
- Prepare and deliver project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews, to stakeholders and senior management.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on implementing software solutions or coordinating technical projects. Education or EdTech experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve issues and overcome challenges.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders with diverse interests and priorities.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Mac OS X operating system, various remote work tools (e.g., Google Drive, Trello), and interest in educational technology and technology in general.
