The GTM Systems Manager at Instructure, Inc. will be responsible for the strategic oversight, administration, and optimization of the Go-to-Market (GTM) technology stack, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation to support sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
What you will do:
System Administration & Optimization: Administer and optimize key GTM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, Gainsight), ensuring data integrity, system scalability, and user adoption.
Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Collaborate with GTM leadership to define system requirements, evaluate new technologies, and develop a strategic roadmap for GTM systems to align with business objectives.
Integration & Data Flow Management: Design, implement, and maintain integrations between various GTM systems and other business-critical platforms, ensuring accurate and timely data flow across the organization.
Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains within GTM workflows, leveraging system capabilities to streamline operations and improve team productivity.
User Support & Training: Provide expert-level support to GTM teams, troubleshoot system issues, and develop training materials to ensure users are effectively utilizing GTM tools.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide insights into GTM performance, system utilization, and data quality.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with GTM system vendors, including contract negotiation, service level agreements, and product roadmap discussions.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure GTM systems adhere to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal governance policies.
Project Management: Lead and manage GTM systems projects from conception to completion, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
What you will need to know/have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in GTM systems administration, operations, or a similar role, with a strong focus on Salesforce.com.

Technical Proficiency:
Expert-level administration experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (certifications preferred).
Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot).
Experience with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
Familiarity with customer success platforms (e.g., Gainsight) is a plus.
Strong understanding of data models, integration patterns, and API usage.
Experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to improve GTM performance.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about GTM systems and their impact on overall business objectives.
