The Role
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager to lead and scale our quality engineering efforts across products and teams. In this role, you’ll manage and mentor QA engineers, define and evolve quality strategy, and partner closely with Engineering and Product to ensure reliable, high-quality releases. This position sits on the Quality Assurance Engineering Team, a team that establishes quality standards, enables predictable delivery, and champions a culture of quality across the organization. The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader, a strong collaborator, and a strategic thinker who can balance delivery speed with long-term quality.

What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of Quality Assurance Engineers and QA Automation Engineers
- Define and own the quality engineering strategy across products and releases
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to align quality goals with roadmap priorities
- Establish and enforce quality standards, metrics, and release readiness criteria
- Drive the adoption and expansion of test automation and CI/CD quality practices
- Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management for major releases
- Identify quality risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and team effectiveness
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, with people management experience
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing QA teams
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, and modern SDLC practices
- Experience integrating quality practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable making data-driven decisions using quality metrics and KPIs
- Eager to take initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fueled by the opportunity to build scalable quality systems and teams
The typical base salary range for this position is ₹3,200,000 - ₹4,800,000 per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
