Who are We?

We are Terra (by PlayShifu), a young start-up focused on building a gaming and social platform for kids! Our mission is to create a safe and immersive 3D metaverse experience where children can explore, learn, create, connect with each other, and cultivate a healthy online lifestyle. This is the world's first Gen Alpha metaverse!

About the Role:

The new product platform we are working on, is in 0 to 1 stage. Hence all tech stacks are starting from core architecture design and iterative development. Be the part of core tech team to build a truly revolutionary platform. The focus of this role is to help us build ultra responsive network architecture and backend system, to power the frontend of the metaverse!

Current backend stack:

• Javascript, NodeJS, Beanstalk, EC2, S3, Lambda, RESTAPIs, API gateway
• RDS, CloudFront, MySQL, MongoDB
• Azure, PlayFab, AWS, GCP

Role & Responsibilities:

• Server implementation for multiplayer network stack
• Core projects involving server utilization and optimization and server auto-scaling
• APIs - core APIs, data analytics APIs, security, auth, in-app purchases, etc.
• Customer-facing transaction and digital currency management system
• Company-internal product management and tech stack health tools
• Business and product focussed dashboards help visualize and control data and triggers

What We Are Looking For:

• Good proficiency in NodeJS
• You must also know HTTP and how a client application interacts with the server
• Great to have - GoLang, Java or C++ handson server application development experience
• Remarkable aptitude to learn
• Nimble on feet

Extra points For:

• Knowledge and/or working experience of network architecture & socket implementations
• Expertience working on network latency, lag compensation
• Ability to design FE <> BE system archs
