As the Director of Brand and Marketing Content you will drive the creative and strategic direction of Prodigy’s brand across all channels, ensuring cohesive and compelling campaigns that resonate with our audiences. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute brand consistency, develop innovative content strategies, and oversee the production of high-quality written and visual content. Your work will amplify Prodigy’s mission and deepen engagement with teachers, parents, and players.

Your Impact:

  • Develop and execute a brand strategy that aligns with Prodigy’s business goals, driving engagement with teachers, parents and students.
  • Develop brand positioning for each key audience and unify the brand positioning and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Manage the evolution of the brand as new products and strategy launch.
  • Secure alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure brand strategies and positioning deliver on team objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of brand and content direction across all channels to deliver breakthrough, relevant, and motivating campaigns.
  • Own the marketing campaign calendar across channels, ensuring cohesive planning, timely publication, and alignment with Prodigy’s broader marketing goals.
  • Create high-quality content as needed across multiple formats (e.g., website, paid media, email, organic social, product).
  • Collaborate with User Acquisition, Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, UX and Product teams to ensure content supports objectives and resonates with target audiences.
  • Own the quarterly master briefs and partner with marketing teams to co-develop campaign briefs, translating marketing objectives into creative direction.
  • Work with stakeholders to break down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.
  • Design content tests and optimize content to meet performance goals.
  • Track and report on content performance, using data and analytics to refine strategies and maximize impact.
  • Oversee the team responsible for the production of a high volume of content, managing workflows, capacity, and resources to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of content that meet brand standards and business objectives.
  • Manage Prodigy’s organic social team, creating engaging, relevant content that drives awareness and community.
  • Define workflows, provide feedback, and mentor team members to continually improve the quality and impact of content.
  • Stay updated on content marketing trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Support PR initiatives by collaborating on press releases, press kits and coordinating with PR partners.
  • Assist with budget management, ensuring cost-effective production and distribution.

About You

  • Proven experience in brand strategy, content marketing, and campaign management, ideally within education, tech, or a mission-driven organization.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to secure stakeholder alignment and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in managing internal creative resources to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of content marketing best practices for channels such as website, social media, and demand generation.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with a keen eye for design and brand consistency.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
