Job Title: Project Manager – Product &Technology Operations

Reports To: VP, Product & Technology Operations

Location: Baltimore, MD

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-managed individual to become part of a global team. The candidate will manage deliverables across our Product and Technology teams including new products, software upgrades, security initiatives as well as client facing projects. They will work with internal teams to ensure optimum service delivery, resulting in maximum productivity and client satisfaction. The role will also liaise across teams by participating in various Planning Increment sessions partnering with the Scrum Master for multiple infrastructure and operations teams to align with our Shared Services with the existing SAFe development methodology. The individual will be accountable to create, manage, report all project deliverables across the broad portfolio for team members as well as for senior leadership read-outs. May communicate with executive management (both internal and external) regarding the status of specific projects.

The candidate should also have significant agile software development experience in customer-facing roles and has also worked with software teams to remove inefficiencies, confusion and implemented efficient agile processes. The candidate should be very comfortable creating project plans, estimating delivery plans, uncovering uncertainties, and to working with product owners to continuously groom and refine the stories while working with developers to break them down into sub-tasks.

The candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, an ability to present and discuss technical information with all levels of the business in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. As such, you must be a positive, energetic leader who excels in working in a collaborative environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

· Quickly learn existing client practices and application dependencies for top clients

· Meet with internal client success team and clients to align target deliverables

· Report on pertinent service level agreements with deliverables

· Manage projects and scheduling for Prometric product and technology projects

· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

· Ensure resource availability and allocation

· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

· Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues

· Define new processes and procedures to ensure balanced project, program and portfolio prioritization

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· Experience in a scrum master role and excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

· Ability to drive various technology operations projects to support organizational goals

· Experience managing Microsoft Azure DevOps

· Proven working experience in project management

· Project management tool experience (MS Project, Wrike, SmartSheets)

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Experience implementing projects from begin to end for global organizations

· Hands-on technical experience/background helpful

· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills both oral and written

· Sound decision making with the ability to work under minimum supervision

· Detail oriented and attention to detail

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· Scrum certifications or relevant experience

· Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

· Understanding of production centralized system while operating distributed delivery model

· Bachelor’s Degree in related field or relevant industry experience
