We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Filing Analytics team in Belgrade supporting our existing software application. This is an amazing opportunity to help positively reshape, grow, and support our application functionally into new frameworks within our fully cloud native environment, leveraging the latest in serverless technologies. We have a great skill set in microservice development and we would love to speak with you if you have a Java background and are looking to expand your skill set.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing software in Java
• Minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Unix/Linux environments

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Experience using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EMR, EC2, S3, RDS)
• Experience with SQL databases (eg Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, etc)
• Experience programming using Python for data development
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

What will you be doing in this role?

• Support our existing data driven software application updating our ETL pipelines, backend services, and front-end UI
• Work on migrating our existing ETL pipelines from Java to Python using Airflow and EKS
• Work with team on migrating the front-end UI to a new framework
• Learn independently, and self-directed in researching solutions

• Design and produce clean code

Hours of work

We are working in a hybrid environment, hence you will be expected to work from the office for 3 days every other week.

The expected core hours of engagement will be an 8-hour day starting at CEST timezone. This is a full-time position.
