We are looking for a Lead Business Solution Consultant to join our APAC IP solution consultant team in Taiwan. This is an amazing opportunity to work on proposing custom IP solutions based on Clarivate IP product portfolio and demonstrating their value propositions for various types of customers in Taiwan. The team consists of 18 consultants and is reporting to the Director of APAC IP solution consultant. Solution consultant team is an integral part of the IP sales strategy of Clarivate and plays an important role in supporting client acquisition and retention efforts. We have a great skill set in both IP expertise and consulting and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in IP intelligence and management with a technical background of high techs.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years IP experience, e.g., Law Firm, IP functions at large corporation, IP service provider, etc.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English

  • Master’s degree in science and technology related areas

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Highly motivated, service-oriented, and energetic

  • Builds strong relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders.

  • Regular business trip within Taiwan, and APAC region as required.

It would be great if you are . . .

  • Technical background of high techs, such as semiconductor, electronic, etc

  • Good knowledge of IP products or services

  • Knowledge of IP customers’ business needs and workflows

  • Familiarity with IP intelligence and/or competitive products in the IP space

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Develop local presentations of IP solutions that align with global messages. Introduce and present the presentations to the related sales team and help the sales team to understand the key messages and be prepared to deliver them to the customers.

  • Keep update of Clarivate IP solutions. Prepare and coordinate the necessary documents for distribution to the customers, the sales team and other function teams.

  • Provide pre-sales support of product or services other than upon request.

  • Customer-centricity and ‘outside-in’ approach to commercial solutioning. Ability to identify customer pain points and propose IP solutions to business problems.

  • Ability to clearly explain and articulate the value of recommended solutions coming out of the customer discovery conversations to drive revenue growth.

  • Liaise with global delivery team to deliver against project plans and communicate with customer on project progress.

  • Represent Clarivate to present at industry conferences and exhibitions as a trusted advisor and/or SME.

  • Focusing on competition Intelligence and products analysis.

About the Team

APAC IP solution consultant team is part of APAC sales organization within Clarivate IP segment, and a close working partner of regional sales team. Solution Consultant revolves around driving commercial outcomes with the sales teams by building customer trust and confidence in proposed IP solutions and associated value proposition. In addition, this team is also the hub of communication between Clarivate global product and service teams, regional sales team, and customers, achieving the transmission of internal and external workflows and information. This team consists of 18 consultants across Japan, Korea, India, and the Greater China.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position with normal working hour.
