Clarivate is seeking a dynamic Internal Audit Intern to join our growing, global team! The Internal Audit Intern will report to the IA Senior Manager within the Internal Audit department and be responsible for assisting in various projects supporting the team’s evaluation of risks across the organization, including both operational and financial reporting risks.

About you – experience, education, skills and interests…

• Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
• An interest in building knowledge in internal auditing and accounting principles and practices
• Ability to stay organized, learn quickly, ask questions, and have a strong intellectual curiosity
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint functionality

What will you be doing in this role?...

• Your primary role will be supporting the Internal Audit Department in the completion of the annual SOX Program and other compliance and operational reviews, as requested by Team Leadership based on current departmental priorities.
• Assist with SOX testing including the walkthroughs, rationalization of controls, and business process and/or IT control testing
• Identify potential control deficiencies, articulating potential deficiencies to IA leadership
• Contribute to other internal department initiatives, such as assisting with operational audits, and other internal reviews, as requested
• Assist in preparing detailed documentation of results of audit work performed

Hours of Work

This is a full-time, hybrid position working within commutable distance to our Ann Arbor, MI location with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
