We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to join our Academia and Government Marketing team in Europe. Reporting to the Director, Field Marketing the Field Marketing Manager defines, owns, executes, and reports on multi-channel, digital and offline marketing campaign and event strategies and deliverables for Clarivate solutions within a territory in EMEA for the Academic and Government markets.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone with solid B2B marketing experience.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • At least 5 years of related experience in B2B marketing, with two years direct experience in campaign and promotional program management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience.

  • Fluency in Spanish

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • Language skills in Italian or French.

  • Experience in creating and executing campaigns using digital marketing channel tools.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation tools (i.e.: Eloqua, Marketo, Act On, Silverpop, etc.).

  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Lead in the development of marketing strategy for the region, based on sound knowledge of the market dynamics and sales goals, to achieve Marketing KPIs.

  • Directly manage campaign and events development, execution, and measurement of demand generation, lead acquisition, and lead nurturing programs; driving interest in Clarivate solutions and advancing prospects through the sales funnel.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from sales, product, market development, and global marketing to ensure best outcomes.

  • Share campaign and event outcomes with the wider team and makes recommendations for improvement.

  • Own and manage the annual marketing planning and ongoing campaign planning process for the region. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to create campaigns to drive new business and support retention.

  • Develop, manages, and executes integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging a broad marketing mix including digital, email, advertising, events, social media and PR, to support global programs and initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate record of marketing campaigns and tactics using the designated Marketing Resource Management tool.

  • Build and monitor campaigns leveraging Salesforce and marketing automation platforms as well as other internal marketing templates and tools and is able to provide key performance and impact metrics.

  • Show innovation in identifying new channels to market, testing new methods of communication and adopting new technology to support the marketing programs and initiatives.

About the Team

The role reports to the Director, Field Marketing, based in UK.

The Field Marketing team within Academia and Government is a team of 6 colleagues located all over the EMEA region. We pride ourselves on being a highly collaborative and support team, with an emphasis on personal development and regular opportunities to build skills and knowledge of the industry.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position based in Barcelona, Spain and will require hybrid working in our Barcelona office (2 days per week in office, rest of week remote).

This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.

This position will require approximately 10% travel.
