About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

As a Senior User Experience Researcher, you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for diving deep into understanding user needs:

  • Minimum BS (higher preferred) in one of the following: Degree program focused on the human experience as it relates to design and technology (User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, etc.); or Field(s) related to behavioral and/or social science research, including (but not limited to) Psychology, Sociology, Cultural/Social Anthropology, Political Science and Economics (in this case, completion of UX and/or related certifications achieved within the profession is a plus).

  • 5 or more years of professional experience in a research-related role.

  • Solid understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.

  • High empathetic nature and aptitude for the end user of a product.

  • High customer experience curiosity and the enthusiasm for digging deeper to understand “why” people do the things the way they do them.

  • Creative in thinking and analyzing information. Has the ability to look beyond the surface to unlock new ways to solve customer problems.

  • Solid analytical skills combined with user experience research methods.

It would be great if you also had...

  • Experience in mentoring team members in research methods and best practices.

  • The ability to create wireframe concepts to communicate research findings.

  • A strong understanding of the latest trends in user experience research.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the research questions.

  • Synthesize analytics, customer insight, and help data to focus research.

  • Track patterns in analytics data to inform trends in usage.

  • Conduct unmoderated and moderated testing/workshops, research repositories, qualitative data analysis, qualitative data analysis, etc.

  • Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into findings and insights.

  • Identify competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and market trends; evaluates gaps.

  • Own and lead initiatives within the product/project context: design thinking, discovery, requirements, stakeholder alignment, etc.

  • Maintain relationships with customer touchpoint teams to ensure seamless access to customer data.

  • Highly skilled at presenting findings and insights to project stakeholders (verbally and visually)

  • Possess a deep understanding of the customer profile/persona for products in the assigned segment.

  • Identify connection points between products as they relate to user workflows and expectations.

  • Motivated to influence the future direction of products within a product segment/ecosystem.

Product you will be developing

As a Senior User Experience Researcher, you will enhance key products within the Life Sciences & Healthcare (LS&H) sector. Working on significant research projects, you'll leverage a sophisticated tech stack including UX design software and data analytics tools. This role is crucial in evolving our well-established LS&H brand, ensuring our digital solutions continue to lead in a highly competitive market

About the Team

You’ll be joining a Global team of UX practitioners with more than 50 colleagues across the globe, working on a hybrid model from our Barcelona Office. You'll be part of a local, fast-paced, growing design community, working on new products, and infusing change throughout the organization!

Hours of Work

This is a permanent full-time position, we work regular CET hours in Europe.
