We are on the lookout for a Lead Software Engineer. This role plays a pivotal role in enhancing and transforming the tax systems (OneSource, Native NetSuite Tax Engine, Inspirria (India Tax Engine), Vertex) used at Clarivate.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business administration or in a related field
• Knowledge & understanding in implementation of tax technology solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex)
• At least 3+ years of experience in supporting and implementing tax solutions (Onesource or Vertex) with ERPs (NetSuite or Oracle EBS).
• Solid Understanding of O2C (Order to Cash), P2P (Procure to Pay) business process in NetSuite and Oracle EBS.
• Solution Design experience for Indirect Tax calculation, Withholding Taxes.
• Experience defining the architecture landscape, business capability mapping, identifying gaps between current and future states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will help achieve the business outcomes
• You are an effective communicator, can draft operational documentations and drive reviews and presentations in front of senior leaders.
• Experience in financial/billing system development and support along with NetSuite and Oracle EBS tax related configurations

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Experience in developing enterprise-class solutions using tech such as Java / .NET would be a plus along with SQL, CI/CD on cloud,

• Experience integrating OneSource, Vertex to external systems via API would be a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel capabilities and an ability to manage significant amounts of data
• Experience in High Tech Industry & SaaS Transformation
• Experience managing vendor relationships and ability to partner with them to conduct business and technical discovery
• Experience working and presenting proposals to executives in a clear and compelling way
• Strong business process analysis, business modeling, process definition, data analysis and problem solving skills as well as can learn about newer business processes in a short period of time.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Configuration, testing and support of NetSuite and Oracle ERP Integration with ONESOURCE and/or Vertex, preferably with working experience in Oracle AP, AR, GL, Tax.
• Support the M&A and Migration activities
• Drive implementation and support of indirect tax compliance solutions and tax integration with Onesource, Vertex.
• Identifying, documenting, and recommending client technological business requirements for tax compliance processes and system improvements
• Establishing and implementing best practices to ensure data quality and report performance
• Establishing Operating model for Tax Functioning, Making Tax Strategy.

About the Team

This role would be part of the Enterprise Solutions Delivery Team. The stakeholders for the role are Global Tax, Transactional Processing (Account Payable, Account Receivable), other Cross-Functional Internal IT Teams, External Vendors and Partners.

Full time, permanent

Hybrid working model 2-3 days per week from office

40 hrs/Week - 2- 11 PM IST
