Product Consultant

We are looking for a Product Consultant to join our Intellectual Property Technical Solution team in Shenzhen. We are a team of product experts and is responsible for growing revenue from both existing and new customers, by deeply understanding customer needs, effectively presenting the value of the solution, enhancing customer relationship to improve customer satisfaction, and contributing to product development and consulting services engagements.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments.
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field
- At least 5 years of experience in IP or a related industry (e.g., law firm, IP roles at large corporations, similar service providers), with a focus on leveraging data, software, and services to drive processes, inform decision-making, and deliver value
- Prior experience in solution consulting, serving as a subject matter expert (SME), or engaging in public speaking within the domain area is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel as needed

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field; a Master's or PhD in a relevant discipline is strongly preferred
What will you be doing in this role?
Responsibilities
- Understand customer workflows and needs on Intellectual Property.
- Develop domestic presentations of product solutions that align with global messages. Introduce and provide the presentations to the related sales team and help the sales team understand the key messages and be prepared to deliver them to the customers.
- Liaise with global production operations to deliver against project plans and communicate with customer on project progress.
- Bring and continuously build a reputation as a trusted advisor and domain/solution expert/SME that will help strengthen customer relationships and pull-through demand
- Breadth of expertise - understand the potential connection points and complementary benefits of data, software, and services from across the entirety of the Clarivate portfolio for the given customer segments, personas, and use cases
- Depth of expertise - articulate a solution’s most relevant features, benefits, and impact in tangible, value-based terms that build belief and buy-in from end users/practitioners, key stakeholders/influencers, and executives/decision-makers
- Ability to clearly explain and articulate the value of recommended data/content, analytics, and software solutions coming out of the diagnostic programs in order to drive revenue growth
- Competitive intelligence – understand and be able to defend our solutions and capabilities against competitive offerings
- Represent Clarivate to present at industry conferences and exhibitions.

Hours of Work
