Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Analyst to join our OpEx Automations team who are part of Operational Enablement, and whom partners with our Operations teams within the Intellectual Property division at Clarivate in Noida. The mission of the Operational Enablement team is to support our Operations teams in the identification of process improvement opportunities, and in the implementation of impactful solutions.

About You (Skills & Experience Required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field of expertise
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience, ideally having driven automation improvement Projects
  • Business requirement processing and documentation: Epics / User Stories creation, story points for JIRA, Test Cases creation
  • Agile Model / Scrum methodology
  • AWS & API micro services knowledge

What will you be doing in this role?

To implement technology-based business solutions, you will collaborate with both technology and operational stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business products, processes and systems. This position will deliver high-quality documented business requirements which incorporate all of the product and operational business needs, as well as being responsible for taking the requirements through the full development lifecycle. The aim is to deliver solutions that are fit for purpose with minimal defects, and are delivered on schedule in collaboration with the project manager.

  • Provide guidance to stakeholders in the development of business cases and in the feature prioritisation and development of scope for a quarter or release.
  • Maintain an awareness of initiatives across the portfolio to identify synergies and opportunities.
  • Work with Operations team leads to analyse business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess and evaluate existing solutions to determine their compatibility with new or evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and sustainable.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights that inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate on solution designs to ensure requirement alignment and implementation of effective processes aligned to strategic direction.
  • Create and maintain detailed Agile-oriented artifacts for proposed solutions, including functional and non-functional specifications, system flows, and data models throughout the development lifecycle
  • Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to communicate and clarify requirements.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Define acceptance criteria and work with Operational teams to ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements and are free of defects.
  • Guide and drive standardizing of testing processes with Operations teams to validate the functionality and performance of solutions.
  • Participate in defect troubleshooting and resolution.

About the Team

Both the Operational Enablement, and IP OpEx Automations team are global in nature and geographically dispersed. The location of this position is India, where many of the OpEx business partners and teams for this program are based. As part of this team you will get the opportunity to work on automation improvements where you will develop a deep understanding of our automation tools and systems, and the processes that are required to deliver the IP services within Operations. This position will act as the liaison between the technical development teams and our operational stakeholders to deliver high quality technical and business requirements. A critical outcome of this collaboration is to find solutions alongside the technical teams to solve technical challenges as part of implementation. To ensure the quality of the outcomes, you will also agree the testing framework to ensure the solution meets the overall EPICs and outcomes that have been agreed with the teams. These requirements and solutions will enable the operations teams to efficiently deliver our IP services to our customers in the formats and timeliness that they are expecting.

Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours (excluding breaks) per week based out of Noida, India (IST).
  • As a member of a global team, the expectation is that some flexibility in working hours may be needed. Some of the project and team meetings may be needed outside of normal office hours to connect with colleagues in the USA, however where possible this will be kept to a minimum.
