Senior Account Manager

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Account Management in Shanghai. This is an amazing opportunity to work on IP related products and solutions of Clarivate to the Academic and Government sectors. The team consists of 10 people and is reporting to the Senior Director, Segment Sales. We have a great skill set in ToB sales, we would love to speak with you if you have skills in sales and business development.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Strong experience on sales or business development.
- Good understanding of R&D and technology innovation life cycle
- Good communication, customer relationship management and presentation skill required.
- Good understanding of business for government and Academy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and execute a sales plan
- Become a Product and Workflow Expert in products, solutions and service.
- Minimum years of experience: 7 years
- With integrity, passion and good collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
- Good business English.

- Experience to work with Government organizations-R&D funding agency/R&D policy makers, Ministry, Universities
What will you be doing in this role?
- Identify sales opportunities with account managers and leading customer conversations, product demo, professional service-related discussion and explanations
- Identify agenda of research excellence in world-class and frame it with Clarivate offerings to design custom-specific solutions.
- Develop relationships with customers to ensure Clarivate’s position as a trusted advisor in the agenda.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales team as well as regional/global teams.
- Coordinate scoping, pricing, and proposing for consulting projects while monitoring the progress of work as well as guiding a delivery done by the global team
- Deliver the presentations at high-level decision makers for Intellectual Property Solutions
About the Team
Our team is working for IP related database, data analytic service or consulting for technology landscaping, performance evaluation, R&D planning, emerging research/technology identification, etc. We achieve this through our focus on sales target fulfill, develop relationships with customers and clear communication.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
