Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our LS&H RWD team in Bengaluru. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Startup product with various stakeholders from different departments. The team consists of 20+ members and is reporting to the Director of Technology. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing solutions that leverage Java Services and AWS Resources in the most efficient and effective way for our customer projects.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.
At least 8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack projects and development experience.
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Proficiency in Java Full Stack development, including both back-end (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and front-end (Angular, React). Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Write effective APIs
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
It would be great if you also had . . .
Knowledge of or prior experience with Healthcare or Lifesciences domain.
Track record of continuous improvement and innovation leveraging trailblazing technologies demonstrated.
Strong communication & analytical skills.
AWS Certifications from Beginner to Advance Or any cloud certification
What will you be doing in this role?
You will interact with Product and the Technology Development leads and Managers directly to understand the business problem, design the reusable and modular UI and Backend components.
As part of the Technology team, you will do peers code review to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
You will interact with data engineers and Solution Architects in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements.
You will Document APIs, architectural decisions, and application workflows.
You will also create technical documentation for the broader team.
You will drive effective feedback gathering from customers and translate into clear technical requirements for their solutions.

Hours of Work
45 hours per week, full-time employment, Hybrid (2 days in the office week). Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
