We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.
About you
5+ years of experience in Linux Systems Administration within an operations or DevOps environment
Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently
Knowledge in programming and scripting languages (Java, Python, C#, React )
Experience managing and optimizing AWS cloud-based environments, including working with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and networking components
Strong background in CI/CD pipelines
Experience with migrating to containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any other related field.
It would be great if you also had
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog and CloudWatch to ensure system observability and proactive issue resolution
Understanding of security best practices in DevOps, including IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems, diagnose performance issues, and work across teams to resolve infrastructure and deployment challenges
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile, fast-paced environments that require adaptability and problem-solving
What will you be doing in this role?
Collaborates with operations and software engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions for efficient development, building, and deployment in cloud environments. Ensures best practices for scalability, security, and automation
Develops, maintains, and supports CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and deployment automation to streamline software delivery and reduce manual effort
Provides technical support and guidance for the tools and processes developed, including creating clear documentation, conducting training sessions, and assisting team members with troubleshooting
Continuously evaluates and integrates new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security. Clearly communicates potential benefits, risks, and adoption strategies to stakeholders
Monitors system performance, identifies bottlenecks, and proactively implements solutions to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance system observability
Works closely with security and compliance teams to ensure DevOps practices align with industry standards and organizational policies, incorporating best practices for secure cloud deployments
Product you will be developing
Vega is an AWS based SaaS multi-tenant platform, with multiple cross functional components which combine to deliver a unified, connected data experience across a library’s internal and marketing data, to a customer interaction management suite that is available for use by public libraries worldwide!
About the team
You will be a part of DevOps developers team of 3 working on our Vega web application. The team will report to a US-based Manager for guidance and tasking.

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone. This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
