The Impact You Will Make
The Director, Student Success Performance, serves as the strategic integrator and cross-functional translator for the Student Success Center’s (SSC) ecosystem across Risepoint's pod model. This role ensures seamless performance alignment, data transparency, and operational cohesion across partners, internal teams, and student-facing initiatives. As Risepoint continues to evolve its operating model, this role will be instrumental in driving vertical integration and optimizing student outcomes through data-driven collaboration and pilot innovation.
How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life
What You Will Do
- Ensure SSC performance data and metrics are visible, integrated, and discussed consistently across pods and executive leadership by reporting and connecting insights to decision-making and strategy.
- Track, analyze and share partner-level and cross-functional trends in conversion and retention metrics.
- Develop systems and processes to monitor engagement and retention pipeline and persistence health.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to surface emerging risks, bottlenecks or performance anomalies across Marketing and SSC leadership with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure readiness and alignment of student support infrastructure for new initiatives from the SSC perspective.
- Develop and drive student and/or partner facing pilots – including new partner/program launches - between PODs and SSC teams, as the POD owner and accountable leader.
- Own continuous improvement efforts across SSC teams by leading evaluation of pilots, after-actions and lessons learned across SSC and Marketing.
- Leverages expertise in marketing and performance management to share insights across the organization and make recommendations for performance improvement.
- Represent SSC in POD meetings, surfacing insights, readiness issues and risk updates.
What Success Looks Like
- Create feedback loops and performance tracking for pilot initiatives.
- Lead through influence, serving as the primary liaison between the SSC and the Marketing pods representing and advocating for both functions as needed.
- Develop, influence and support organizational strategy by creating and updating tools that ensure alignment of goals across the departments (dashboards, reports, presentations, playbooks, etc.).

- Lead collaboration across departments to share insights, trends and operational learnings to improve overall student experience.
- Create bi-directional, cross-functional, ongoing communication channels related to performance, readiness, partner needs and priorities.
- Builds effective cross-functional relationships and establishes credibility to influence business outcomes.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Experience That Matters Most
- Bachelor’s Degree (in Business, Marketing, Operations or a Related Field)
- 5+ Years experience in management or direct team lead position, with a strong working knowledge of performance and operations management.
- Experience leading change cross-functionally through influence, ideally within sales and marketing functions.
- Ability to diagnose and surface data issues to executive leadership, making recommendations for resolution and championing change across cross-functional channels.
Experience That’s Great to Have
- Experience in omnichannel automation campaign execution.
- Experience with Salesforce automation and administration and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey.
- Able to synthesize data for various audience levels, making recommendations based on expertise in metrics driven performance management.
