THE OPPORTUNITY
This role provides metrics and reporting support to the business units, enabling management improvement and performance measurement. This person will be a self-starter with the ability to communicate to key stakeholder at the senior level. Their insights will be used to guide business strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the manufacturing team with providing cost changes to the business units and the impact to their P&Ls.
Working closely with manufacturing to provide each business units with CPU for the thousands of titles used during every forecast and budget.
Supporting the manufacturing and demand on vendor changes and cost impacts to each business unit P&L.
Responsible for creating P&Ls for every change in vendor selection that negatively impacts the business and communicating it before the PO is cut.
Work with the demand planning team in approving POs with cost of product over $100K.
Responsible for showing/documenting CPU at all levels of product create to reprint.
Responsible for providing monthly reports showing variances between estimated costs and actualized costs by cost groups (Manufacturing/Paper/Freight/Duty/Tariffs).
Provide standard monthly and ad-hoc reporting for all cost of goods and inventory.
Create monthly variance CPU variance report for each business unit

Qualifications
HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong analytical ability is a must
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (ex, pivot tables, macros, advanced index formulas)
Ability to combine information from multiple systems, including cloud data sources into an integrated reporting structure
Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, resourceful and disciplined with the ability to work remotely while offices are closed
Must be a team player, able to work collaboratively with others.
Multi-task oriented, efficient, and accurate under pressure.
Strong work ethic and desire to take ownership for delivering projects within required deadlines.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Analytics, Business or related subject required. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years in a finance or data analytical role is required.
Proven experience building reports and dashboards is required. Experience in Microsoft Power BI preferred.
Experience creating and interpreting regression analysis preferred.
