Team Overview

The Services team works closely together to set PowerSchool customers up for ongoing success through post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team offers cross-portfolio support, all while meeting organizational objectives for revenue, utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Job Overview

The Director, Services Program Management will play a critical managerial role in overseeing the entire delivery process of custom software development and data migration projects. This role entails tracking and supporting the sales pipeline, developing and/or validating statements of work for opportunities, managing active projects, and working closely with the PMO to manage project risks through to successful delivery. The Director will ensure projects are delivered to meet customer expectations and continuously improve standard operating procedures. Additionally, the role involves supporting team revenue recognition and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business forecasts.

The Services Program Management team strategizes, implements, and maintains programmatic initiatives that support our organizational objectives.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Sales Pipeline Support:
  • Track and support the sales team’s pipeline.
  • Provide detailed statements of work (SoW) for custom development requests.
  • Ensure SoW accuracy for both standalone and attached deals.

  • Project Management:
  • Manage active projects in collaboration with engineers, PMO and operations.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to identify and manage project risks.

  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation.
  • Integrate the processes for intake, active project management, and delivery.
  • Track and support the sales team’s pipeline.
  • Revenue Recognition and Forecasting:
  • Support revenue recognition and forecasting for the quarter.
  • Understand and ensure commitment to business forecasts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to meet revenue targets.

  • Client and Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for project-related communication.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing and leading teams and managers.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in working with sales teams and providing statements of work.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition and forecasting processes is a plus.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $155,200 - $177,800 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
