Team Overview

Our People Experience (PX) team leads PowerSchool’s human-resources function, equipping and encouraging PowerSchoolers to reach their potential while driving business results. The PX team manages the organization’s global workforce infrastructure; supports the overall employee experience; and attracts, develops, and retains talent.

Responsibilities

The PX Operations team is responsible for performing a broad range of HR Operations functions, including HRIS management, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, employee records maintenance, and administering HR policies and procedures.

The team interfaces with several different functional groups across the organization, as well as third-party payroll and benefits providers.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Processes employee life cycle transactions in HR systems
  • Ensures all employee data is accurate, complete and compliant with company policies
  • Serves as Tier 1 support for employee and manager inquiries
  • Provides guidance to employees and managers on self-service functionality
  • Supports service level agreements for response and resolution times.
  • Assists with HR process audit and data integrity checks
  • Maintains and creates documentation, job aids and SOP’s
  • Provides backup support for onboarding/offboarding activities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of HR, shared services or or relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Travel occasionally, up to 0-5%, for key moments such as team summits, training, conferences, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong Customer Service Orientation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Familiarity with HR Processes and employee life cycle
  • Experience in Case Management / Ticketing portal system a plus
  • Prior experience in Workday or other HRIS system a plus

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $45,800 - $57,200 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
