Team Overview

The Services team works closely together to set PowerSchool customers up for ongoing success through post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team offers cross-portfolio support, all while meeting organizational objectives for revenue, utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Description

The Project Management team ensures successful project delivery, including overseeing project objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements, while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Manages multiple practice deployments, Strategic and/or State-wide customer segments
  • Leads implementations that span multiple schools, districts, or functional areas
  • Provides best‑practice guidance based on deep K‑12 delivery experience
  • Maintains project WIP within established engagement tolerances
  • Ensures projects meet contractual, financial, and delivery expectations
  • Completes administrative requirements in a timely and professional manner
  • Drives and champion assigned process improvements
  • Develops and manages delivery strategies across multiple deployments or sub‑projects
  • Fosters a ‘customer first’ attitude; understands PS related initiatives
  • Represents Professional Services in a senior, customer‑facing leadership role.
  • Builds and maintains strong executive relationships within districts.
  • Delivers executive‑level status reporting and, when required, quarterly business or review sessions.
  • Ensures full compliance with PMO standards, tools, and methodologies
  • Participates in PMO‑led reviews, audits, and lessons‑learned activities
  • Mentors and supports Project Managers and Associate Project Managers
  • Sets delivery quality expectations and reinforces professional standards

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Spanish speaking required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Travel occasionally, up to 5-10%, for key moments such as team summits, training, conferences, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
  • Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $66,900 - $106,200 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
