About the job
At Section, we’re building the business school for the Age of AI. Generative AI is crashing into organizations, careers, and livelihoods. Yet the workforce is unprepared for this level of change. Therefore, we believe it’s our job to enable every knowledge worker to join the AI class – making them confident and proficient with AI and putting AI to work in their role or function. Our goal is to bring 100,000 employees into the AI class by 2025, and millions more by the end of the decade.
Section is seeking an experienced Integrated Marketing Lead to drive consumer revenue growth through strategic marketing campaigns for our online business courses. You will be responsible for hitting monthly and quarterly revenue targets by planning and executing high-impact integrated marketing initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the engine behind our consumer sales growth and oversee all aspects of marketing for our portfolio of courses and events. You will develop strategy, plan campaigns, manage specialists, analyze performance metrics, and continually optimize your approach to exceed goals. This is a hands-on role where you'll need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to roll up your sleeves. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated emerging leader who wants a lot of responsibility on a small and growing team. You will have opportunities for promotion, raises, and significant exposure to the executive team.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly consumer revenue targets through recurring memberships and transactional course sales
  • Ideate and implement new marketing initiatives to drive further revenue growth (aka, don’t just execute the same playbook every month)
  • Plan and project manage integrated marketing campaigns spanning email, social, paid ads, website, events, and partnerships
  • Manage a team of designers, copywriters, operations, and external partners to deliver high-quality campaign assets on time
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide detailed reports on KPIs and revenue impact
  • Get in the weeds on day-to-day tasks like event logistics, copy, website updates, etc. (this is not a role for someone who wants to set strategy at the highest level without getting their hands dirty)
  • Oversee the marketing tech stack (including Webflow, Stripe, Wordpress, Typeform, Saasquatch, and other tools) and co-own some technical marketing tasks in partnership with the Head of Engineering and our operational team
  • Collaborate across teams including product, engineering, customer success, and leadership
  • Meet quick turnarounds and juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in B2C marketing and owning revenue targets, preferably with some experience in a startup environment
  • Proven track record of driving revenue from integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing multi-step projects
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to deadlines, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Passion for delivering high-quality campaigns on time with a high degree of fidelity
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize marketing performance
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to get hands-on
  • Creative mindset to continually generate new marketing ideas
  • Experience with marketing tools and technology (we use Webflow, Asana, Figma, Stripe, and Zapier, but any related experience is relevant)
  • Experience with and interest in using AI tools like ChatGPT
Please submit your resume and cover letter.
