Overview:
As the Finance Director at Seismic Software, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing all financial operations within the organization. You will be responsible for financial reporting, tax compliance, auditing, and accounting processes to ensure the company’s financial health and long-term success. You will collaborate closely with both local and global leadership teams to drive strategic financial planning, management, and operational execution.

What you’ll be doing:
- Design, enhance, and enforce accounting management systems and financial standards aligned with Seismic’s objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead daily financial and accounting operations, ensuring compliance and efficient management of financial processes.
- Develop and implement financial management frameworks, business processes, and operational guidelines tailored to Seismic’s unique business logic.
- Collaborate with the head office to formulate and manage budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with company goals.
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure rigorous auditing processes, risk management, and compliance controls are in place.
- Oversee corporate tax planning and strategy to optimize tax liabilities while adhering to applicable laws.
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to both local and global leadership, contributing to strategic decision-making and business growth.
What you bring to the team:
- 10+ years of financial experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a controller role, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of national and local financial and tax laws, with strong professional judgment and experience in accounting project analysis.
- Familiarity with financial management in the software industry, including expertise in financial controls, financial systems design, and process optimization.
- Proven leadership in the development and implementation of financial and business information systems.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage both day-to-day operations and high-level strategic planning. Able to balance hands-on execution with senior-level decision-making.
- Demonstrates high integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
